Looks like a lovely car.

It is a pity that the Dellow Register car ads frequently don't have a price - I suppose if you have to ask, you can't afford one!

Anyone know of a project Dellow for sale?

Best wishes
Mike

Passenger looks to be incorrectly seated in 2nd photo.....

Following the thread - if somewhat 'off subject'. When was the rule introduced, 'seated within the confines of the car', or words to this effect?
I recall spectating PCT, Stafford & District MC, early 1960's, VW Beetle, footplates on the rear bumper, and grab handles on the roof - with passenger suitably mounted. And incidentally, a characteristic of East African Safari Rally cars of the era, and even entries within the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon. e.g. the ''Works' Hillman Hunters.
From when onwards were trials passengers required to be seated?- One for our distinguished historians.

I think this was the Dellow I spotted at Laon last year. The windscreen sits on a plinth which is unusual. It looks as if it could with a new nearside front wing. Had it been the offside I could have helped out because I have one!

I have just checked my Laon pictures and this is the car I saw there. Not only is the windscreen mount different, the side profile is not standard Dellow (if you can use the word "Standard" with a Dellow) which prompted me to ask David Haley if it really was a Dellow.
